Welcome to Twin Oaks Primary School 

I am very proud to be the headteacher of Twin Oaks Primary school. 

We are a small school and pride ourselves on knowing our children and our families.  We always strive to do the very best for the children in our care, offering them the best opportunities and the highest quality education we can.  

We believe that all children have the right to a fantastic education and a broad range of experiences as they make their way through their primary school life.  

We want all children to feel safe, supported, included and happy in our school and we work hard with parents, staff, outside professionals and the wonderful children, to make sure this is their reality.

We changed our name from Sir Francis Drake Primary School in January 2023.  This was following a consultation with pupils, parents, staff and the local community.  We had 450 responses to our consultation, with 88% of respondents in favour of the change.
